Adding a work to the catalogues

The exact number of art works created by the artist is not exactly known. However, in reviewing records in the artist's studio, the total number of works could be significant. We are in the process of establishing two catalogues of works by Gino Manelli. As an owner of a Gino included in the catalogue raisonne, your piece is authenticated and provides a foundation for appraisal and possible sale if so desired.

 

Catalogue Raisonne

The catalogue raisonne is a scholarly compilation of the artist's works. The goal of the catalogue raisonne is to covers the full breath of work with nothing excluded. The catalogue committee reviews works of art for inclusions. Once a work of art is authenticated to be by the artist Gino Manelli, the work is included in this catalogue. The catalogue raisonne will be published on this website with images.

 

Catalogue en Cours

The catalogue en cours is a compilation of works believed to be by the artist but not fully validated for inclusion in the catalogue raisonne. The works in this catalogue are listed because there is sufficient information to make a reasonable preliminary finding that the work is by Gino Manelli. The images generally are the best available and are either from a collections of slides found in the artist's studio with no record of sale or images submitted to us for inclusion in the catalogue raisonne but still pending further examination. Images in this catalogue will be published on this website.
